Borman has a lot of exiting sport activities that are going on or they a;ll ready passed. The most known sports are basketball, football, and soccer. Most of the teams went to the championship. Also most of the teams that went to the championship and they got a trophy for 2nd place runner up. Even though none of the teams won the first place, mostly got in second place. There was only two teams that didn't go to the championship, the 8th grade girls volleyball and 6th and 7th grade boys basketball. All the other teams went to the championship. That is why Borman had so many exiting sport activities.
All the teams went somewhere with their season. 8th grade boys basketball team had a great season. They started winning their games and they lost to Estrella then they lost to Desert Sands. From those two loses they began winning again. They beat Estrella and that game was very exiting. Desert Sands beat Borman again. The rest of the games that they had they won. From there they went to the play-offs. They won a very close game. The game was so close Borman won by 1 point. Their next game was wingith the defending champions, Desert Sands. That game was the best game Borman had, with Borman beat the defending champions. Borman hasn't beat Desert Sand in two years. Borman went to the championship game. That game was intense, but Borman lost by 5 points. Borman got 2nd place and they got a trophy since 1992. They had already won two trophies.
The 6th and 7th grade boys basketball team had a bad record, their record was 1-9. That was what happened to the boys basketball teams. The 6th and 7th grade girls basketball team also went to the championship but they also lost in the championship. The 8th grade girls basketball team didn't win one game. Football also did very good in their season. They went undefeated for a while. After a while they lost one of their games. The football team went to the championship. They had the best record in our district but that doesn't mean that they were the best because they lost in the championship.
People say that Borman has a little curse because none of the teams that went to the championship won the first place. Soccer had a chance to win that number one spot but it slipped away. Their record was also the best in our district. At Borman a new sport is starting that sport is baseball and softball. They will also go all the way and might win the championship. Their team is skilled at playing baseball and they have played for a long time in their life. That are some reasons why the baseball team will go all the way. Our girls softball team is also a good team that will represent Borman in a good way. Our baseball and softball teams also going to the championship.
Those are the sport activities that are going on in Borman. Basketball did a wonderful job winning games and almost winning the championship since 1992. They didn't but they were very close. The girls, 6th and 7th grade basketball also did a good job. Football also almost brought the first place trophy home. So did soccer but it slipped away. Now softball and baseball will try to bring the first place trophy home. Those are the sport activities that happened or are going to happen in Borman.
