What's Going On?

Have you ever been clueless on what's going in the Borman campus and you missed cool activities because of this? Well this is a very common problem among the Frank Borman students. A solution to this problem would be to instead of listening to the announcements, which I have to admit are a bit non interesting, you can just read each week this part of the news paper and you'll informed about the latest dances to the events where anyone can volunteer. Not only will you be informed but you have a chance to enjoy all this events like dances, talents shows, and places where students can lend a helping hand.

Borman has great opportunities to get involved in the community. Our school has many meetings in which you can show up to help the community like the social awareness club where everyone is allowed to join to make a difference and help in many projects. Another club someone can join is the IMPACT program where you also help the community and our school by using many different sources like technology, accountability, practical skills, and creativeness. These two clubs work together in many events because both of them are dedicated to giving back and lending a helping hand. Even though it takes lots of hard work when but at the end of the day you feel great because you've helped someone in the community. If you are interested in these two magnificent clubs talk two the Mr. Spencer and Mr. Lucero.

We also have nights where the idea is to relax and enjoy the night and have lots of fun like the upcoming event will be on January 24, 2008 which is tomorrow. This will be a great night to bring every relative you know this is a special night is to award all the great winter sports players. This great event will start at 5:00pm and will end at 7:00 pm. The event will be located in the cafeteria for an hour and then it will be in the gym until 7:00pm. There will be subway meals available for the guest to eat. After eating there will be sports, games, and pie throwing at the principles so you can see that it will be a very entertaining night for everyone. The special appearance from the the Phoenix Suns Gorilla which he will be arriving at 6:00, pictures will of the the Phoenix Suns Gorilla will also be available. Overall it's going to be a great time for everyone even the principles!

This information is exclusively for all the artists in the Borman campus. Anyone who thinks they have the talent to draw and design the yearbook cover for the year 2007 - 2008. All you need to do to enter is to get $1.00 and give take it to room 36. Although everyone does have a chance to enter it's time to hurry because the deadline is coming up. All the drawing will be displayed and voted in the library where the drawing with the most votes from the students will. Not only will the lucky contestant's drawing will be on the cover of the yearbook but he/she will be rewarded with a free yearbook and the yearbook will have a hard cover which will be a great memory for the winner to keep through many years. As I said it is a great opportunity but the time is ticking.

Each important and enjoyable event will always be named in this section of the newspaper. It will be a time saver for anyone who has Internet on their computer. Not only will the students of Borman will be updated many other people can check our events even if their not students because it's online. Goodbye for now and hope you were well imformed.
